ELECTRICITY DEPARTMENT
YANAM REGION

The Electricity Department provides the following services to the people of Yanam. According to their needs the public can approach the concerned Officer for availing the Services / Particulars in the Electricity Department.

(a)	Availing of new service connection to domestic, commercial, industrial and Agriculture.
(b)	Name transfer and shifting of service connection.
(c)	Enhancement of load.
(d)	Rectification of defective meter.
(e)	Change of tariff.
(f)	Revision / correction of current consumption bill.
(g)	Issue of Power Feasibility Certificate.
(h)	Intimation of appropriate actions on the petitions received from the public.
(i)	Hearing and redressal of public grievances and rectification of the complaint.

The Superintending Engineer-II is the overall in-charge of the Mahe region and the Executive Engineer-III is looking after the operation and maintenance of Mahe region, whose addresses are given below:

The public residing at the below mentioned area can approach their concerned Officer for availing types of services rendered by this Department. Besides, the public may also contact the respective Fuse-off Call Office either in person or over phone for rectification of defects in supply of Electricity.
